Overview

The 42nd National Conference on Theoretical Physics (NCTP-42) will be held on 31 July - 3 August 2017 in Can Tho, Vietnam.

Conference venue: Ninh Kieu Hotel, 2 Hai Ba Trung, Can Tho

The NCTP-42 is co-organized by the Institute of Physics – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (IOP-VAST) and Can Tho University (CTU) under the support of the Vietnam Theoretical Physics Society (VTPS).

For over 40 years, the NCTP has been an annual activity of VTPS, and became the most well-known annual scientific forum dedicated to the dissemination of the latest development in the field of theoretical physics within the country.

Our mission is to foster scientific exchanges between theoretical and computational physicists in Vietnam and worldwide, and to promote a high-standard level of research and education in Vietnam.

The conference will cover topics of theoretical and computational physics in the following fields:

• Particle, nuclear, and astro- physics

• Molecular physics, quantum optics and quantum information

• Condensed matter physics

• Soft matter, biological and interdisciplinary physics.

Online registration for the conference is open from 20 March 2017 to 16 June 2017. Abstract submission deadline is 9 June 2017.
