PhD scholarship opportunity in Chemistry for Vietnamese students

Applications are invited in 2018 for 3 fully funded scholarships to study PhD with Assitant Professor Athina Anastasaki and Dr Nghia Truong at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. ETH Zurich is one of 10 world-best universities and home to 21 Nobel Prize winners including Albert Einstein.

Assitant Professor Athina Anastasaki (ETH Zurich, Switzerland) and Dr Nghia Truong (ETH Zurich, Switzerland and Monash University, Australia) are young leaders in the field of polymer synthesis and applications. We will start running a new research group at Department of Materials, ETH Zurich focusing on the development of smart and functional polymeric nanomaterials with controlled architecture, composition and morphology. These polymeric nanomaterials will be used in a wide range of applications including drug delivery, cancer therapy, immunotherapy, cardiovascular diseases, and antibacterial. PhD scholarship opportunity in Chemistry for Vietnamese students

3-years PhD scholarships:

· Tuition fee: waived.

· Living expense: 1st year 47,040 CHF; 2nd year 48,540 CHF; 3rd year 50,040 CHF

· Bonus: 500 CHF per first-author publication.

Eligibility:

· To be considered for this scholarship you must hold, or be currently completing: a master degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Materials Sciences. Exceptional students with bachelor degree only may be considered for a master scholarship.

· English language: Although there is no official English language requirement for admission to ETH Zurich, IELTS 6.5 (6.0 each band) or equivalent is recommended.
