Establishment of training cooperation between the Graduate University of Science and Technology and the University of Tokyo, Japan.
On the afternoon of 04/11/2016, Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Dai Lam, Vice Rector of the Graduate University of Science and Technology, met and worked with the delegation of professors from Tokyo University, Japan. Kaoru Yamanouchi - Deputy Dean of Chemistry, Institute of Science, Tokyo University. Joining the team are Prof. Dr. Hasegawa Shuji - Deputy Director, Japan Physical Olympic Committee; Prof. Dr. Yukio Masumoto - Faculty of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Tokyo University and members of the Global Science Course.
In addition, Prof. Dr. Le Hong Khiem - Dean of Physics Department, Director of Institute of Physics; Assoc.Prof.Dr Dinh Van Trung - Deputy Director of Institute of Physics; Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh; and DR. Pham Van Thach represents the Institute of Materials Science.
At the beginning of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Tran Dai Lam expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation of the University of Tokyo and also introduced the strengths, training scale, educational strategies, scientific research, as well as the strength of the Graduate University of Science and Technology in the cooperation programs with foreign partners, especially emphasizing the 911 transnational education program. Assoc.Prof. Dr Tran Dai Lam said that with the mission of training high quality human resources in the process of regional and world integration, The institute focuses on enhancing transnational education with advanced universities and institutes in Vietnam and in the world.
Besides Tokyo University, Prof. Dr. Kaoru Yamanouchi Appreciated the Graduate University of Science and Technology for goodwill and warm welcome. He shared that the Tokyo University is one of the most modern, advanced and quality university in Japan. In international cooperation, the university always promotes high quality cooperation with other countries in the region. Prof.Dr. Kaoru Yamanouchi expressed his pleasure at establishing a cooperative relationship with the Graduate of Science and Technology with its joint training programs.
After the direct exchange, the delegation of the University of Tokyo visited several national key laboratories at the specialized institutes of the Graduate University of Science and Technology.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to expand cooperation in science and technology sector, and held short courses, scholarships and exchange programs.
