The third International Workshop on Corrosion and Protection of Materials –CPM
On September 18th- 21st2018 Institute for Tropical Technology and Nguyen Tat Thanh University cooperated with Graduate University of science and technology (GUST) to hold the CPM-2018 seminar. More than 100 multidisciplinary scientists, researchers and experts from both educational and industrial sectors in 12 countries and in the field of materials attended the workshop.
In four sessions, 29 presentations and findings on issues relating to materials were presented and discussed. 66 summary reports were published on the workshop, 36 posters were displayed Highly scientific articles will be selected and published in the Journal of Science and Technology - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
Following the success of the last CPM 2015, in this workshop, scientific topics of the CPM 2018 include: Corrosion and Protection of Materials, degradation and stabilization of organic materials and polymers, advanced protection materials, coatings and protective coatings, biodegradable polymers and environmentally friendly materials, technologies and materials. Thanks to this workshop, there will be a plenty of opportunities for researchers and experts to interpret research findings and seek solutions for protecting materials.
