In order to enhance the exchange and communication among scientists, Center for Research and Technology Transfer, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology is going to organize the 2020 International Science Conference on “Toxic pollutants in food and the environment: Quality control and treatment technology”. The Conference will be held from June 2020.


The third International Workshop on Corrosion and Protection of Materials –CPM

On September 18th- 21st2018 Institute for Tropical Technology and Nguyen Tat Thanh University cooperated with Graduate University of science and technology (GUST) to hold the CPM-2018 seminar. More than 100 multidisciplinary scientists, researchers and experts from both educational and industrial sectors in 12 countries and in the field of materials attended the workshop.


Tennis Tournament: GUST OPEN 2018.

Due to the successful GUST OPEN tennis tournament held in September 2017, GUST OPEN 2018 Tennis Tournament was organized on Saturday, 22/9/2018 at Quan Hoa yard, Cau Giay district, Hanoi. This event was to cerebrate the anniversary of the founding of the Graduate University of Science and Technology (GUST); enhance relationships among GUST’s members as well as cooperation among GUST and other departments or institutes in Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST).


Seminar “Experience on application deployment from scientific and technological research results”.

On 17/09/2018 Graduate University of Science and Technology (GUST) Collaborated with the institute of Materials Science and Center for High Technology Development to hold the Seminar “Experience on application deployment from scientific and technological research results”. Prof. Phan Ngoc Minh, Vice President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), Director of GUST attended and hosted the Seminar. This is a practical activity in accordance with the project “National Program to Support Innovative Startup Ecosystem in Vietnam by the year 2025” approved by The Prime Minister 8/05/2016. This project focuses the importance of entrepreneurial creativity that is government’s top priority.


Vietnam – Poland Science Workshop

Under the permission of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), from 16 to 18 July 2018, Graduate University of Science and Technology (GUST) collaborated with the Institute of Materials Science and Institute of Physics to organize successfully Vietnam – Poland Science Workshop for young cadres in Conference room 338 - A2 Building, Institute of Materials Science, VAST.


On July 16th, 2018, an Open Ceremony for Master and Ph.D. courses in Graduate University of Science and Technology (GUST) was hold to award new Ph.D. and announced postdoctoral fellows Graduate University of Science and Technology (GUST) honored scientists with outstanding achievements in scientific research in 2017.


GUST was established on September 22, 2014 under Decision No. 1691 / QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.GUST’s mission is managing and promoting postgraduate training in VAST. In order to become a prestigious research university, GUST always enhances scientific publications in the reputed international magazines.


Ending the selection process of the United States Diplomatic Mission. Ms.Pham Thuy Hang, Department of Research management and international Affairs executive, Graduate University of Science and Technology was selected to attend the STEM EDUCATION CONFERENCE YSEALI – PHNOM PENH, COMBODIA held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in early March 2018. She also represented Vietnam at the conference and won the STEM Park Project.


On the afternoon of 04/11/2016, Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Dai Lam, Vice Rector of the Graduate University of Science and Technology, met and worked with the delegation of professors from Tokyo University, Japan. Kaoru Yamanouchi - Deputy Dean of Chemistry, Institute of Science, Tokyo University. Joining the team are Prof. Dr. Hasegawa Shuji - Deputy Director, Japan Physical Olympic Committee; Prof. Dr. Yukio Masumoto - Faculty of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Tokyo University and members of the Global Science Course.
